Career day
Patrick Smith had a career day for touchdowns on Saturday for TSU. The senior wide receiver, and preseason OVC player of the year, caught three touchdown passes and was the only Tiger to make it into the end zone. He had a total of seven catches on the day for 152 yards. His third touchdown of the day put TSU ahead 24-20 early in the third quarter.
