Lane held its own against the top seed in the first half. The Lady Dragons could not get on the board for the first two minutes, but ended the first quarter narrowly trailing 22-18. Florida Southern doubled Lane’s points 26 to 13 in the fourth quarter to walk into its dominant 89-57 victory.

Lane finished with three players in double figures. Alexis Harris led in scoring with 14 points, followed by 13 points from Antrice McCoy. The Lady Dragons’ season ends at 13-18 overall and with the SIAC women’s tournament crown.
