Getting on the bus usually doesn’t create a fuss for the average Joe. You slide your pass for a quick trip across town, you pay for your ticket at the terminal if you prefer the great American road trip over flying.
Florida A&M, however, may be taking the most scrutinized bus trip of 2017 when they travel to play Arkansas next month. Jay Bilas and the HBCU community at large agreed to both agree and disagree on the topic via Twitter and we’ll break it down on the podcast this week.
Your point? Don't state the fact that these games are played for money because we need the money, which is the reason we play "money games"?

It was also quite the week for Gram Fram. A couple of weeks after having their 2011 SWAC Football Championship swiped, they get it right back. NCAA reversals don’t happen often. Steven breaks it down for you while explaining who took this perfect picture for the article.
We also rap a taste on Tarik Cohen’s preseason debut with the Chicago Bears. I’m on NFL boycott status but that won’t stop HBCU Gameday from showing love to all the HBCU players pursuing their dreams. Steven caught the game over a big plate of wings and he was impressed with his debut outing.
Speaking of Tarik, don’t forget about the Beyond the Yard final episode. Our Wali Pitt did a great job chronicling his final season leading up to the NFL draft and what we all hope will be a breakout season for the Bears. That premieres on August 19th at 9 p.m.

Have a great weekend everyone.
