Ken Riley, FAMU
Ken Riley racked up three Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles for the Rattlers between 1965 and 1969 at Florida A&M. He was later inducted into the Florida A&M’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 1977. Riley was a 6th round pick in the 1969 NFL draft and played his entire career with the Cincinnati Bengals. Riley became a three-time all pro in the league before retiring in 1983.
After putting down the cleats, Riley picked up the clipboard and took charge as the FAMU head coach from 1986 to 1993. During his tenure, he secured a Mid-Easteren Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship and the MEAC coach of the year twice.
