33 Points – Jibri Blount & Charles Williams

Jibri Blount – NC Central

Game: vs. Delaware St. (1/25/2020)

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Year was an absolute problem. He scored in double figures in 28 games this season, scoring 20 points or more 13 times. Blount led the MEAC in both scoring and steals per game.

In probably the buzzer-beater of the season, Delaware State shocked NC Central with a shot by John Crosby. Blount scored 26 in the loss and in the rematch, he dropped 33 points. Let’s just say that he didn’t forget about the buzzer-beater.

He shot 11 for 15 from the floor and 9 for 13 from the free-throw line. He threw in two three-pointers for fun, picked five steals, dished out two assists, and grabbed 10 rebounds.

This performance alone shows why NC Central was the top dog during conference play.

Charles Williams (at Delaware State (3/5/2020))

29 Points – Cletrell Pope, Jibri Blount, & Core Nasir

Pope: Bethune-Cookman vs. Morgan State (1/13/2020)

Blount: vs Bethune-Cookman (1/18/2020)

Nasir: Delaware St. at Florida A&M (2/15/2020)
