QB Slade Jarman, Fort Valley State

Injury ended season at eight games played after fracturing ankle. Passed for 2,099 yards passing, completed 61.9 percent. He threw 18 touchdowns and passed for 262.4 yards per game with a 142.2 percent efficiency rating.

QB Khalid Morris, Virginia Union University

Morris passed for  2,080 yards and 22 touchdowns in 10 games. He completed just 50.4 percent of his passes but threw for 208 yards per game with a 137.7% efficiency rating.

Johnson Bowie

QB Ja’Rome Johnson, Bowie State

Emerged as the starter after beginning the season as a backup. Ran for 83 yards per game and 12 rushing TDs. He passed for 155 yards passing per game with a 58.2 percent completion rate. In total he threw for 1,860 yards and 22 touchdowns with a  151 percent efficiency rating.

QB Austin Hensley, West Virginia State

In 10 games played he threw for 2,814 yards and 22 touchdowns. Hensley completed 60.4 percent of his passes for 281.4 yards per game with a 140.9 percent efficiency rating.

RB Deshaun Wethington, Chowan

Led the CIAA in rushing with 1,377 yards in just eight games. He averaged 8.8 yards per carry and 12 touchdowns.

RB Emmanuel Wilson, Johnson C. Smith

Freshman rushed for 1,040 yards and 13 touchdowns.
