Historic win for men

The men came up with a 94-82 win thanks to a clutch late run and a big game by Jermaine Marrow. The Pirates went on a 19-2 run over seven minutes in the second half, stretching its lead to 18 at one point.

Marrow, Hampton’s electric junior guard, put up 35 points and six assists in the win. It’s the fourth time this season he’s broken the 30-point barrier. Trevond Barnes added 21 points in the win. Hampton improved to 6-8 overall and 1-0 in the Big South.

Hampton will take on UNC-Asheville on Saturday at home.
