Amir Hall was impressive but in the end, Bowie State wasn’t able to pull off an upset of Wagner on Thursday night.
Hall ended up with better than 400 yards of total offense, but the FCS used a heavy dose of the run and big plays on special teams to come up with a 40-23 win over BSU in the first game for both teams.

The Seahawks got off to a 17-0 start and led 31-3 midway through the second quarter before Bowie State put up 23 points in a row to cut the lead to single digits early in the fourth quarter.
Unfortunately for BSU it had no answer for Fulse, who finished with 271 yards rushing, including a back-breaking 77-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Hall completed 28 of 42 passing attempts for 348 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 62 yards in the first game of his senior campaign.
