Texas Southern has apparently decided its time to call in its big gun. Guard Trae Jefferson has been reinstated to the team after nearly a month off, according to a report.
The sophomore guard from Milwaukee, WI was suspended indefinitely by coach Mike Davis for an unnamed violation of team rules last month. Reporter Meshach Sullivan says Jefferson, the eighth leading scorer in the NCAA when he last played, will be put back on the team.

Jefferson is averaging 23.2 points per game this season. His last game was against Grambling on Jan. 15. He scored 9 points in just 13 minutes in a 79-78 loss to GSU, only the second time all season he scored less than 20 points.
TxSU, the defending SWAC Tournament champion, has gone 3-2 without Jefferson.
