JACKSON, Miss. — The Jackson State football program finalized its 2020 recruiting class and welcome 15 student-athletes to the program.
“I’m really excited about this class and the quality student-athletes that are joining the program,” JSU head coach John Hendrick said. “During the early signing period we recruited for need at kicker, linebacker and the defensive line. The freshmen that we signed also fill needs at offensive line, secondary and will provide quality depth.”

When Hendrick was named head coach an emphasis was put on recruiting Mississippi. Hendrick followed through with that promise and 10 of the 15 signees hail from the state. The Tigers reached into Alabama, California, Georgia, and Tennessee to finalize the class.
