Lincoln (Mo.) picks up two prestigious Track Awards

Raymone Campbell and Rene Medley awarded for outstanding seasons

CENTRAL REGION – Raymone Campbell – Lincoln (Mo.)

A pair of Track and Field athletes from Lincoln (Mo.) swept the athlete of the year awards for the Division II Central Region.

Raymone Campbell, a freshman from St. Catherine, Jamaica, won the men’s track award. Campbell is ranked first nationally in the 200 with a time of 20.50 that he registered at the Kansas Relays. He is also ranked eighth nationally in the 100 at 10.33 and a member of LU’s 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams that are ranked second and 12th in the nation

CENTRAL REGION – Rene Medley – Lincoln (Mo.)

Rene Medley, a junior from Kingston, Jamaica, won the female Track Award for the region. Medley is ranked first nationally in the 100 at 11.33 and second nationally in the 200 at 23.10. She is also a member of the nation’s top-ranked 4×100 relay team that turned in a time of 45.01.
