TTA BENA, Miss. (March 25, 2019) – Mississippi Valley State head men’s basketball coach Andre Payne’s contract will not be renewed, as announced by Director of Athletics Dianthia Ford-Kee on Monday.
“We would like to thank Coach Andre Payne for his service to the University and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” Ford-Kee said. “The search for a new head coach will begin immediately.”
Payne became the Delta Devils head coach in July 2014. During his five seasons, the Delta Devils were 31-132 (.190) and 26-64 (.288) in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
