It’s not over until it’s over, and Saint Augustine’s Shannon Kalawan is living proof. Kalawan came from behind and won her second consecutive NCAA D2 women’s Indoor 400 Title on Saturday at 53.74 seconds.
Kalawan took home her second-straight outdoor title by three-hundredths of a second. She is now a two-time indoor 400m champion and defending her Outdoor 400 Title. She recorded a 53.36, the best D2 time, in May 2018.
The Lady Falcons are currently in fifth place overall in the D2 Indoor Championships.
