The 2018 NFL Draft is finally here and hundreds of college football players will see their NFL Dreams realized. Among them will be Brandon Parker, North Carolina A&T’s 6’7, 299 lb offensive tackle.
Parker’s selection will mark the second year in a row that an Aggie has been selected in the NFL Draft, following the path of running back Tarik Cohen. Cohen, of course, was selected in the fourth round by the Chicago Bears in 2017.

Whenever the Kannapolis, NC native is drafted, he will be the 33rd player from A&T to be selected in the NFL Draft (including the AFL Draft). The first was Robert “Stonewall” Jackson back in 1950. Jackson was picked in the 15th round (202nd overall).

The most famous of these is Elvin Bethea, who went on to have a Pro Football Hall of Fame career with the Houston Oilers.
