North Carolina A&T’s men’s basketball program isn’t going The Big Dance, but it does have at least one game left to play.
A&T has been invited to the College Insider Tournament following its loss to Hampton in the MEAC semifinals. It will face Liberty in Lynchburg, VA on Monday at 6 PM. The game will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network.

The Aggies finished the season 20-14, their best record in over two decades. That mark came just one year after they finished 3-29 in 2015-16.
“These young men will forever be in my heart, because a lot of people, didn’t give me a chance,” coach Jay Joyner said after Friday’s loss before breaking down. ”
Liberty and A&T have met in the postseason before, with A&T winning a First Four game for its first Division I tournament win in school history. Leading the way will be Femi Olujobi (16.6 ppg, 7.5 rebounds) and Devaris McGowens (10.7 ppg) along with three other teammates that average nine points or better.
