SWAC releases attendees, potential NBA appearances for Top 50 Camp

See which NBA players will be working with HBCU hoopers in Atlanta.

Last month the NBPA announced it would be sponsoring a Top 50 camp featuring players from two HBCU conferences, the SWAC and the SIAC. We now know some of the college hoopers who will be there and a few pros who could be there.

The SWAC released the 20 players that will attend the the camp, hosted at Morehouse from July 20-22, along with a number of current and former NBA players who could appear as coaches.

The list of potential coaches for the event with a NBA playing career background includes New York Knicks forward Kyle O’Quinn (Norfolk State), Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington (Tennessee State), Utah Jazz forward Derrick Favors (Atlanta native), former Atlanta Hawk guard Gary Neal, Chicago Bulls guard Anthony Morrow, Utah Jazz guard Shelvin Mack and retired 12-year NBA veteran George Lynch.

Here’s the list of SWAC players that will be in Atlanta for the camp.
