Texas Southern’s marching band performed on Fox NFL Sunday and Michael Strahan loved it

Texas Southern is coming off a disappointing 24-20 loss to Houston Baptist, but that didn’t stop the school’s marching band from representing on national television on Sunday.

The Ocean of Soul performed for fans and the Fox NFL Sunday crew in Houston to celebrate the start of the new pro football season. Of course, former Texas Southern star and Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan is a part of the crew, and he seemed really happy to hear his alma mater’s band playing, as did former coach Jimmy Johnson.

The OOS also performed at Strahan’s induction into the Hall of Fame back in 2014.
