The numbers for the Celebration Bowl are in, and they are impressive. North Carolina A&T’s 41-34 win over Alcorn State drew a rating of 1.7 and attracted 2.5 million television viewers.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Contrast that number to the amount of viewers for the 2015 FCS Championship Game (1.4 million), FCS Kickoff (1 million) and the Bayou Classic (150k), and those numbers look even more impressive.
The Celebration Bowl outdrew 15 FBS bowls, based off Sports Media Watch’s viewership figures.
