Jermaine Ruttley, FAMU’s leading scorer and rebounder, to transfer

Having your best player is always a problem, especially if you’re coming off a 2-27 season. That’s Florida A&M’s reality as Jermaine Ruttley has announced he will transfer, according to’s Jordan Culver.

// Ruttley averaged team-highs in points (17.4), rebounds (6.7) and assists (2.1) in 2014-15, but was still left off any of the All-MEAC teams.

Update: Ruttley has committed to Louisiana Tech, where he will be able to play immediately.
