Almost a year after a record-breaking blowout, Southern came away with another big win against Champion Baptist on Tuesday night. Though this year’s 114-50 score was a big win, it still paled in comparison to last year’s 116-12 win.

Keith Davis led the way with 22 points and nine rebounds, leading six Southern players who scored double-figures. Southern got a big boost off the bench from Trey Lynch who scored 20 points in 18 minutes.

Cody Conner led Champion Baptist with 17 points, which is more than his entire team scored last season.

Southern improves to 3-8 on the season.
