James Daniel’s career is off to a pretty fast start. The Virginia native was named to the Kyle Macy All-Freshman team and is in the running for College Insider’s Freshman of the Year Award. Daniel led Howard and the MEAC with an average of 21 points per game during his first season in D.C. He also earned the Lindsey Hunter Go-To-Hell Ball Award in the first-ever Early’s presented by HBCU Gameday.
