Qua Cox ran a 4.52 40 in the rain. (News Captain U photo) |
Jackson State cornerback Qua Cox has been billed as one of the top FCS defensive backs and perhaps the top HBCU prospect in the 2014 NFL Draft. Cox participated in Pro Day at JSU on Thursday and put up some pretty impressive numbers.
#ProDay Official 4.52 (in the ran) 35-1/2 (Vert) 10.1 (Broad) 12 (Bench) 4.2 (5.10.5) 6.8 (L drill)

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Cox picked off ten passes in his four seasons at JSU, five of which came as a junior in 2012. He didn’t record any interceptions as a senior, but much of that was due to teams avoiding his side of the field. He participated in the Senior Bowl earlier this year and will be some one to watch on Day Three of the NFL Draft.
Sounds like Qua Cox ran 4.52 in terrible weather conditions. He’ll run again at a later date. I’m already interested at 4.52.
