Southern may not be eligible for the NCAA Tournament, but it has certainly shown itself to be the top team in the SWAC this year. Southern routed Prairie View 91-59 on Thursday, winning it’s fifth straight game.
All five starters scored double-figures for the Jaguars, led by YonDarius Johnson’s 18 points. Malcolm Miller added 15 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots. Hershey Robinson led the Panthers with 14 points off the bench.
