North Carolina Central entered Monday night with just one blemish on its conference record, thanks to Florida A&M. NCCU did all it could to redeem itself for that early January loss, picking apart FAMU for a 92-49 win, the team’s 10th in row.
The 43-point win was the program’s largest since rejoining the MEAC in 2011-2012.
NCCU (18-5) went up 19-12 on a layup by guard Jeremy Ingram and never looked back, stretching its lead to 47-36 at halftime.
The hottest team in the state of North Carolina right now is not Duke, Carolina or NC State. It’s NCCU. 10 in a row.
