North Carolina Central entered Monday night with just one blemish on its conference record, thanks to Florida A&M. NCCU did all it could to redeem itself for that early January loss, picking apart FAMU for a 92-49 win, the team’s 10th in row.

The 43-point win was the program’s largest since rejoining the MEAC in 2011-2012.

NCCU (18-5) went up 19-12 on a layup by guard Jeremy Ingram and never looked back, stretching its lead to 47-36 at halftime.

// The Eagles smothered the Rattlers in the second half, holding them to just 13 points on 5 of 30 shooting in the final 20 minutes.

Ingram scored a game-high 17 points for the Eagles, who picked up their 21st consecutive home win. They shot 9 for 18 from the three-point line on Monday night as eleven players scored.

Jamie Adams led FAMU with 12 points.
