This week’s winter storm caused many basketball games to be postponed this week, including a matchup between Johnson C. Smith and Winston-Salem State. The game between CIAA rivals was delayed a day, but WSSU forward Preston Ross put up a performance that was definitely worth the one-day wait on Thursday night. Ross put up 18 points and 10 rebounds as WSSU won 81-69, improving to 12-8 on the season.
