Winter Weather Pushes Back CIAA Hoops Contests

North Carolina is one of many states being effected by a winter storm, and with the bulk of the CIAA hailing from the state, the conference is feeling its impact. St. Aug, Shaw and Winston-Salem State have all postponed Wednesday night hoops contests.

The Saint Augustine’s University-Livingstone College men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader set for Wednesday, January 29, 2014 has been rescheduled for Monday, February 3, 2014 at Trent Gymnasium in Salisbury, N.C. due to inclement weather. The women’s game starts at 5:30 p.m.followed by the men’s contest at 7:30 p.m.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsWinston-Salem State announced on Wednesday morning that its game against rival Johnson C. Smith had been postponed until Thursday. 

Shaw was scheduled to host Fayetteville State on Wedensday. No makeup time has been announced yet.
