Son of Grambling State’s Robinson Dies

The son of one of the giants of college football coaches has died. According to several reports, Eddie Robinson, Jr, son of Grambling State coaching legend Eddie Robinson has died. Robinson, Jr was 70 years old.

Robinson’s father, who died in 2007, currently holds the record for wins by a Division I coach with 408. Robinson later severed as an assistant coach for his father for 16 years. The Sports Network reports the younger Robinson had recently undergone heart surgery.
