Since Grambling State’s players decided not to get on a team bus bound for Jackson State almost two weeks ago, there has been a debate as to how the game should be recorded. According to FoxNews, the NCAA has decided to call the game a “no contest.”

The SWAC is allowed to give Jackson State a win and Grambling State a loss in its conference standings, but it can’t count the game toward the teams’ overall records.

The NCAA recognizes Jackson State as 6-2 overall and Grambling State as 0-8 overall.
