One of the big reasons I started this site was to keep members of the collective HBCU community informed as to what was going on as it relates to sports and student-athletes. Since 2010, HBCU Digest has done the same thing, albeit on a much larger scale.
Thursday I had the pleasure of chatting with HBCU Digest founder Jarrett L. Carter, Sr. on the HBCU Digest Radio show.We talked about two stories that have been covered on this site the past week: the rape charges against four Morehouse College students and the changing of the guard at the Atlanta Classic.
The episode begins with an interview with Talledega College President Billy Hawkins. I come in around the 40 minute mark (Sorry for the feedback. Will have to ditch the headset next time, I guess.) Please check it out and respond with your thoughts and comments. Also, thanks to Jarrett for letting me bumrush the show!
