When we last saw NC A&T’s Mike Mayhew, he was doing what he does best, running into the endzone at O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium. That was his last hurrah as an Aggie, but it appears he’ll get as shot to keep his career going as Mayhew will try out for the Washington Redskins according to Hogs Haven, SB Nation’s Redskins blog.

Mayhew rushed for over 3,500 yards in his four years at A&T, missing just one game due to injury. Mayhew will be one of about 50 players hoping to impress the coaches enough to make it to training camp.
