According to a post on her father Ivant Fields’ Instagram page, The 1,000-point scorer and top 40 player in Georgia has offers from the University of Michigan, Seton Hall University, and Clemson University to go along with her HBCU offer to Howard University.

Her brother, Justin Fields was the first pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. He was traded to the Pittsburg Steelers this past offseason after setting career highs in completion percentage (61.4), passing yards (2,562), and touchdown passes (16) while having a career-low nine interceptions.

Justin attended Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia where he was a five-star recruit and was the highest-rated dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2018.

Entering her senior year, Jessica Fields is a Georgia Coaches Association All-State pick and has been a key contributor in Mount Paran’s three straight Class AA state titles.

Fields is not only a 1,000-point scorer, she already has over 700 rebounds and 130 blocks in her career, making her a heavily recruited prospect in the high school women’s basketball class of 2025. In addition to scholarship offers from the ACC and Big Ten, Jessica has been on unofficial visits to Marquette and Northwestern Universities.

The Howard University women’s basketball program has been one of the most consistent in all of HBCU in recent years, making the MEAC Tournament final for three straight seasons, and earning an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022.

Jessica Fields would likely be a great addition to Howard or any HBCU program as her coach Stephanie Dunn spoke highly of her during her 1,000-point presentation last season. “Jessica is a joy to coach as she not only brings skill and God-given talent to the court but she brings a fun and selfless spirit. She has been instrumental in our emergence as one of the top basketball programs in Georgia.”
