Winston-Salem State (WSSU) wide receiver, RJ Mobley, attended UNCC’s Pro Day on March 25. Mobley previously participated in the 2024 HBCU Legacy Bowl and HBCU Combine, where he ran a 4.42 second 40-yard dash.
He showed off his catching ability this go-round at his pro day, having zero drops. Mobley feels confident in his ability to play for the next level.
“I believe I can do a lot more than your regular 6 ‘2 wideout,” he said.
Mobley also stated that he strives to be perfect and understands he’s not there yet, but he plans to put in work to accomplish his goal of playing at the next level.
“Teams are getting a versatile threat anywhere on the field,” Mobley says when asked what he brings to the table. “The most hard-working receiver in the room, along with willing to be coached. Those are the three main things I’m focused on.”
With the 2024 NFL Draft right around the corner, Mobley is extremely eager to see what the future holds for him. “I’m looking forward to being a professional, making this sport my day and night. Making football my 9 to 5. I’m ready to take care of my family while playing the sport I love.” Mobley said.
The WSSU standout certainly plans on hearing his number called April 25th-April 27th as he will be a part of the 89th annual NFL Draft.
