UAPB men’s basketball is losing one of its top scorers, Kylen Milton, to the NCAA transfer portal.
Milton is putting his name in the NCAA transfer portal, according to ON3.
The 6’4 guard had a very good season and a solid career for UAPB, averaging 17 points and six rebounds per game. His scoring was super-efficient as he shot 50.5 percent from the field while hitting 35 percent of his 3-point attempts. Those numbers included 34 points against Missouri and 24 points against Oklahoma in the non-conference season. He scored 19 points or better 14 times this season and scored less than double-figures just six times for UAPB.
Kylen Milton started his career at Western Kentucky, where he averaged 2.7 points per game, in 2020-2021. He then returned to his home state (Milton hails from Monticello, AR) after head coach Solomon Bozeman arrived and he became an immediate contributor, averaging 12 points per game in 29 minutes per game. Milton upped that average to 13.2 points per game last season.
In addition to his offensive output, he also has 111 steals in 89 games over the past three seasons at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Milton came up with multiple steal efforts a total of six times this season.
