Bethune-Cookman MBB to make postseason appearance

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Bethune-Cookman Men’s Basketball has drawn Arkansas State in the opening round of the 2024 Ro College Basketball Invitational, it was announced in the bracket release Monday night via X.com.

The Wildcats, who were named the No. 13 seed in the 15-team event are set to take on the No. 4 seed Red Wolves on Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. from the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.

Arkansas State finished the regular season 18-16 overall, and 11-7 in Sun Belt Conference Play. The Red Wolves advanced all the way to the Sun Belt championship game before falling to James Madison, 91-71 in Pensacola on Monday, March 11.

The opening round of the 2024 Ro CBI is set to be broadcast live on FloHoops ($). The game will also be carried live in an audio-only format on CatEye Network Radio at youtube.com/CatEyeNetwork, as well as locally in Daytona Beach at 1380 WELE.

High Point was named the No. 1 overall seed in the event, earning a first-round bye. The full list of participants is available at collegebasketballinvitaional.com

Ticket Information for the 2024 Ro CBI will be announced Monday.
