Southern University handed Florida A&M its sixth consecutive loss in a 74-65 contest at the Al Lawson Center on Saturday evening. The Jags went into the break leading by three points, and then outscored the Rattlers 44-38 over the final 20 minutes to secure the win.
Tai’Reon Joseph scored 33 points to lead the way for Southern. Joseph was particularly effective from three-point land, knocking down 8-of-19 attempts.
