HBCU basketball coaches join NBA TV’s Open Court

NBA TV’s critically-acclaimed roundtable discussion show Open Court will return on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 p.m., with a look at historically black colleges and universities.

The hour-long show will focus on the resurgence of elite high school student athletes seeking an HBCU education, along with the crucial roles HBCU coaches play in helping their players navigate through the pandemic and the country’s current social landscape.
 
Led by NBA TV’s Sam Mitchell, Open Court will feature a panel of former NBA, WNBA and collegiate standouts who now serve in HBCU head coach positions, including Texas Southern coach Cynthia Cooper, Alabama State coach Mo Williams, Mississippi Valley State coach Lindsey Hunter and Howard University Coach Kenny Blakeney.
