Darryl Pope out after two years at Fort Valley State

Dr. Darryl Pope is out as athletic director at Fort Valley State. Less than two years after being hired to lead the Wildcats, he is being replaced by Anthony Holloman. The university announced in a press release on Monday that Holloman, FVSU vice president for advancement, will assume the additional role of interim athletics director effective immediately.

The release doesn’t indicate whether or not Pope was fired or resigned. Either way, he’s no longer with the university.
