CIAA Tournament 2018: Men’s Bracket

All the preliminaries are over and the real show is ready to begin.

The men’s Northern Division was clinched by Virginia State. The Trojans ended the regular season with a 7-0 division record. Bowie State takes the #2 spot with a 6-1 record. Number 3 was secured by VUU. Chowan, Elizabeth City State and Lincoln (PA), round out the bottom three spots.

The Fayetteville State Broncos and St. Augustine are tied for the #1 spot in the division with a 5-2 record.  Winston-Salem State is No. 2 with a 4-3 division record. Johnson C Smith, Shaw and Livingstone take the last 3 spots respectively.

Tuesday’s Men’s Tournament contests are as follows: 6:40 p.m. Lincoln (PA) vs. Fayetteville State and 8:50 p.m. Saint Augustine’s against Chowan. Games will continue on Wednesday evening with Virginia State against the winner of Chowan & Saint Augustine’s at 6:40 p.m. and Johnson C. Smith against the winner of Lincoln (PA) and Fayetteville State at 8:50 p.m. Other games that afternoon are Livingstone against Elizabeth City State and Virginia Union against Winston-Salem State. Thursday games start at 7:00 p.m. with the winner of VUU and WSSU going against Shaw. At 9:00 p.m. is Bowie State against the winner of Livingstone and ECSU.
