HBCU Gameday invites you to “The Players Club” in fresh new web series

Welcome to The Players Club

It’s almost conference tournament time in college basketball and over here at HBCU Gameday we’re working hard to give our fans the best coverage in HBCU hoops. If it’s on the court action you’re looking for, HBCU Gameday will be live streaming the entire SIAC Tournament on all our video platforms. That’s Youtube, Roku and Amazon Fire TV  as well as exclusive content on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

The Players Club

But we’re also bringing you a little extra flavor during conference tournament time this year with our new 4 part web series “The Players Club”, produced by resident Gameday Filmmaker Wali Pitt. “The Players Club” drives straight to the hoop with some of the best players in CIAA basketball as they talk life, legacy, and hoops while they prepare themselves for the CIAA Tournament. https://twitter.com/HBCUGameday/status/967435324224933888 The first episode starring guard duo Robert Davis and Christian Kirchman of Johnson C. Smith premieres on all Gameday video platforms on Sunday February 25th at noon EST with Episode 2 starring Saint Augustines’s star big man Quincy January premiering Monday Feburary 26th at 9am EST.

Episodes 3 and 4, “The Legend of Pee Wee Belfield” starring Livingstone’s Ramel Belfield and the season finale CIAA Tournament episodes will premiere after the conclusion of the 2018 CIAA Tourney and feature exclusive behind the scenes tournament footage from filmmaker Wali Pitt. keep an eye on HBCU Gameday’s social media pages for updates on this project as well as everything HBCU Basketball in the coming weeks.
