Cardinals sign Fayetteville State’s Chris Hubert following tryout

Chris Hubert didn’t hear his name called during on draft day, but he’s still in the running for a spot on an NFL roster come opening day. The former Fayetteville State receiver was signed by the Arizona Cardinals after he impressed the team during his tryout.

Hubert was second in The CIAA this year with 71 receptions and tied for first in touchdowns with 13. He holds the school record for catches and touchdowns in a single season.
