North Carolina A&T’s regular season didn’t have the storybook ending it wanted, but there is still another chapter to be written. A&T will represent the MEAC in the first-ever Celebration Bowl based on its Sagarin Ratings, despite losing 21-16 to rival North Carolina Central.

A&T finished the season 9-2 overall, 7-1 in the MEAC. They shared the title with NCCU and Bethune-Cookman, but came out on top in the ratings system, thereby earning the nod.
