Rice-Totten Stadium is named after two Mississippi Valley Legends, but on Thursday night it was a pair of Southern teammates that lit up the scoreboard. Running back Lenard Tillery and receiver return man Willie Quinn both scored a pair of touchdowns as Southern rolled 50-13 over its SWAC East Foe.
Tillery got going early, scoring the games first two touchdowns on 10 and 14 yard runs, respectively.
Qunn got into the action next, returning this punt 39 yards to put his team up by three scores to end the first quarter.

It only got worse for Valley from there as a pair of Southern scoring passes, including an 89-yard toss from Quinn to Randall Menard, made the score 33-0 with 6:20 remaining in the second quarter.
Valley would cut the lead to 33-13 with just over 11 minutes to go before this Quinn kickoff return to pretty much seal the game.
