It’s the eve of the 2015 football season, and like all other college football programs, Howard is excited about what this season could hold. But with that optimisim there is a somber sense of lose for HU.
Saturday’s game against Appalachian State will mark the first game the team has played since the death of running back Terrance Tusan last December. The Texas native was killed back home while on Winter Break when police say he was involved in a home invasion.
Despite the circumstances surrounding Tusan’s death, his memory is still with the team and head coach Gary “Flea” Harrell.
