SWAC football teams will soon get a chance to face more out-of-conference opponents. The league announced it is moving to a seven-game league schedule beginning in 2017. The league’s teams play nine of their 11 games against conference foes currently.
The change means that every team will not face the rest of the conference starting in 2017.
The league also released its 2015-16 schedule.
