Prairie View’s Jerry Lovelocke headed to Ravens as free agent

Seattle backup Tarvaris Jackson was the only NFL quarterback who played his college ball at an HBCU. Praire View A&M’s Jerry Lovelocke will be hoping to add a second member of that club as he’s headed to the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent, per sources.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Lovelocke spent his first two years at Prairie View splitting time at quarterback before taking over as the full-time started in 2013. In his final two seasons, the Baltimore native threw for over 5,000 yards, 39 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. He also ran for 19 touchdowns in those two seasons.

Lovelocke was ranked second in our SWAC quarterback rankings heading into last season and was invited to the NFL Combine this fall.
