Coppin, Morgan State student-athletes team up to clean up Baltimore

While the nation watches the events going on in Baltimore following the death of Freddie Gray, student-athletes at the city’s two historically black colleges are taking action.

“Cleaning up North Avenue was very important to me,” Coppin State forward Jordan Swails said. “I’m living on campus which means that North and Pennsylvania Avenue is in my backyard. It was very terrifying so I felt like I had to make a difference.”

Bravo, Coppin and Morgan State.
