Nearly a week after the CIAA Tournament came to an end, its still got people talking. Most of the talk has nothing to do with basketball, however. People are still talking about the “CIAA Surcharge” that the Ritz Carlton and other establishments hit party-goers in Charlotte with last week.
North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper told 99.9 The Fan that the surcharge “sends the wrong message.” He also said his office would investigate it.
