Report: Lincoln coach to take Lamar assistant job

The Ramon Flanigan era at The Lincoln University looks like it will end after just two seasons. Lincoln’s head coach has reportedly taken a job as Lamar’s quarterbacks coach, according to Football Scoop.

Flanigan went just 2-18 in two seasons at Lincoln, with both wins coming in season openers against rival Cheyney State. The former SMU quarterback began his career on the FCS level, as a coordinator with North Texas and Mississippi Valley State.
