Apparently Corey Fuller has friends in high places. The former NFL defensive back had Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell pulling for him to be hired as FAMU’s head coach. Now, Deion Sanders is pushing for Fuller to coach at Delaware State.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Sanders and Fuller have a few common threads. Both played for Florida State under Bobby Bowden and the two defensive backs played together briefly with the Ravens in 2004.
Fuller was previously interim head coach at FAMU before the job was given to Alex Wood in December. Delaware State is looking for a replacement for Kermit Blount, who was let go after four seasons last month.
